Mad Sports Dad Studios LLC ("we," "us," or "our") builds software applications for mobile, desktop, and web platforms. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in apps that link to this page.
This shared privacy policy applies to:
Our apps are designed to collect only the information needed for their features, support, security, and maintenance. The categories handled depend on the app and may include account information, user-created content, workout and fitness information, device or locally stored information, and limited service, diagnostic, and security records.
We use information as needed to provide app features, authenticate and support users, synchronize account data, process user requests, maintain reliability, secure the Services, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot problems, comply with law, and protect our rights and users. DialedIn Lifts health and fitness information is not used for advertising, marketing, sale to data brokers, or unrelated data mining.
We disclose information to service providers only as needed for hosting, databases, backups, transactional email, advertising where an app includes ads, diagnostics, and other operations described in this policy. We may also disclose information when required for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, security investigations, or protection of rights. We do not sell personal data.
DialedIn Lifts provides workout planning, scheduling, tracking, progress, family-account, and training-program features through mobile and web applications.
Account information. When an account is created or managed, we may collect a username, display name, email address, password hash, account role, family or subscription membership, preferences, and account-creation date. We use this information to authenticate users, operate accounts, provide password resets, enforce account access, and support the service.
Workout and fitness information. We collect information users enter or generate while using the service, including workout templates, schedules, exercise selections, sets, repetitions, weights, notes, rest settings, supersets, completed workout history, workout duration, progress statistics, program enrollments, and related fitness information. This information is associated with the user's account so the service can save history, synchronize devices, calculate progress, and provide app features.
Apple Health and Apple Watch. On supported Apple devices, DialedIn Lifts may request permission to read heart rate and active energy burned during a workout and to save completed strength workouts to Apple Health. Health access is optional and controlled through Apple Health permissions, which users can change in Apple Health or device settings. If permission is granted, workout heart-rate data, calorie estimates, workout duration, workout records, and related summaries may be processed by the app and stored with the user's DialedIn Lifts workout history. We do not use health or fitness data for advertising, marketing, sale to data brokers, or unrelated data mining.
Family accounts and administrators. A family or subscription administrator may create and manage accounts in that family, view family users and associated workout information, reset passwords, export family data, and deactivate family accounts. Platform administrators may access account and service data when needed to operate, secure, support, back up, or troubleshoot the service.
Community content. If a user chooses to publish a routine to the Community catalog, the routine's name, description, workout structure, exercises, and the user's display name may be visible to other DialedIn Lifts users. Shared exercises or community routines may remain available after an account is deleted, but they may be disconnected from the deleted profile.
Training Partners. Users may choose to connect with other DialedIn Lifts users as Training Partners by sending a request to a specific username. Connections are mutual and require both users to accept. When a connection is active, a partner may see the user's display name and connected training activity, such as completed workouts, summary training statistics, and awards or milestones shown in the shared activity feed. Users control whether to send, accept, or remove a partner connection. Partner connections are optional and are not required to use the service.
Leaderboard. The leaderboard is off by default and is shown only if a user opts in. When a user opts in, their display name and comparative training statistics may be visible to other participating DialedIn Lifts users. A user can opt back out at any time.
Email updates. Users may enable an optional weekly recap email sent to the account email address. The recap may include a training summary, new personal records, and the upcoming schedule, according to the user's selections. The weekly recap has a master off switch and each section can be turned off individually. Transactional emails such as password resets and email verification are sent regardless of recap settings because they are needed to operate the account.
Calendar subscription. Users may subscribe to their DialedIn Lifts workout schedule from Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, or another calendar application. When a user subscribes, that calendar application retrieves scheduled workout information, such as session names, dates, and planned exercises, from our servers on its own refresh schedule and stores it under that provider's terms and privacy policy. Anyone who obtains the subscription address may be able to read that schedule, so users should treat the address as private and should not share or publish it.
Body weight and manual entries. Users may optionally enter body weight to calculate strength standards, and may enter or import manual maxes and workout history by CSV. This information is stored with the user's account and used to calculate progress and training statistics.
Display preferences. Preferences such as theme, weight units, available equipment, weekly workout goal, rest timers, and the anatomy figure used on muscle heatmaps are stored with the account so they follow the user across web and mobile. The heatmap figure is a display choice only; it does not change training recommendations and is not used to identify or infer a user's gender.
Account security options. Accounts support email verification and optional multi-factor authentication. If a user enables multi-factor authentication, we store the information needed to verify that second factor at sign-in.
Device storage and offline use. The mobile app may store authentication tokens, limited offline workout plans, cached server data, pending workout uploads, exported CSV files, app preferences, and health-notice acceptance on the device. Users can remove local app data by using available delete controls, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app. CSV files a user exports or shares are controlled by the user and the destination they choose.
Service, security, and diagnostics information. We may process IP addresses, request identifiers, timestamps, authentication attempts, rate-limit records, password-reset records, audit records, and limited technical or diagnostic information to provide the service, prevent abuse, investigate security events, maintain reliability, and troubleshoot problems.
External exercise media. Exercise demonstrations may be loaded from YouTube or other external media providers. When a user opens external media, the provider may receive device, network, cookie, or usage information according to its own privacy policy and the user's settings.
Service providers. We use service providers for cloud hosting, PostgreSQL database infrastructure, backups, and transactional email. For example, password-reset emails may be processed through Resend. These providers process information on our behalf to provide their services.
Tracking and advertising. DialedIn Lifts does not currently include third-party advertising, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking.
Account deletion. Users can request deletion in the app through Settings > Delete My Account. Account deletion disables sign-in, anonymizes profile information, removes the account from partner connections and the leaderboard, ends recap emails, and deletes the user's personal workout templates, schedules, completed workouts, and program enrollments from the active service. Any calendar subscription previously added to an outside calendar application stops receiving updates, and the user may need to remove that subscription in their own calendar app. Certain audit, security, shared-community, legal, or backup records may remain for a limited period or as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
Tourney Bookmarks does not require users to create an account.
The app is a personal bookmarking and viewing tool for saving team pages, tournament listings, schedules, standings, brackets, and related links.
Saved teams, tournaments, favorites, quicklinks, notes, calendar event IDs, and calendar preferences are stored locally on the user's device. Tourney Bookmarks does not upload saved teams, tournaments, favorites, quicklinks, notes, calendar event IDs, or calendar preferences to Mad Sports Dad Studios servers.
Calendar permission is used only when the user chooses to add or update a saved tournament date in their device calendar.
Tourney Bookmarks may display ads using Google AdMob. Google may collect or process advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location, usage data, or other data according to Google's policies and the user's device settings.
Tourney Bookmarks is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or connected to Perfect Game, NCS, USSSA, or any linked website.
Tournament and team information remains on the source websites and should be verified there.
Our Microsoft Store desktop apps, including Easy Video Combine and Easy Video Splitter, do not currently require users to create an account.
These apps are utility tools for working with files selected by the user. Files, preferences, and app settings are generally stored locally on the user's device unless a specific app feature clearly explains otherwise.
One or more Microsoft Store apps may offer account features in the future. If an app adds account creation or sign-in, account information will be collected only when the user chooses to use that feature.
Microsoft Store apps may display ads using a third-party advertising network other than Google AdMob. That ad provider may collect or process advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location, usage data, or other data according to its own policies and the user's device settings.
Our apps may use third-party services to provide app functionality, diagnostics, advertising, analytics, cloud hosting, or other operational services. These third parties may collect or process information according to their own privacy policies and the user's device settings.
For Tourney Bookmarks, this may include Google AdMob for advertising.
For Microsoft Store desktop apps, this may include a separate third-party advertising network used to display ads in those apps.
Our apps are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where applicable.
DialedIn Lifts is not directed to children under 13. Parents or guardians should not create or permit use of an account by a child under 13 unless and until Mad Sports Dad Studios provides a specifically authorized child-account process. For minors who are permitted to use the service, a parent or guardian should supervise exercise activity and account use.
Information stored locally on a user's device remains on that device unless the user deletes it, clears app data, or uninstalls the app. For apps that use accounts or cloud services, we retain information only as long as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
DialedIn Lifts account deletion is available inside the app through Settings > Delete My Account. Deleted information may remain temporarily in system backups until those backups expire or are removed under our backup-retention process. Some audit, security, legal, shared-community, or fraud-prevention records may be retained as reasonably necessary.
Users can also contact us for privacy questions or deletion requests where applicable. Some data controlled by third-party services may need to be managed through the user's device settings or the third party's privacy controls. See our Privacy Choices page for additional instructions.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information handled by our apps. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
